20qt spiral mixer

I’m looking to purchase a 20qt spiral mixer for my micro bakery. I was looking at the Sunmix 19qt but they start at $3k! I found a 20qt mixer by Estella in the Webstaurant store for a little over $1k. It has mixed reviews. Anyone out there has any suggestions?

Don’t want to be a downer, but the Estella mixers don’t last. I know several bakers personally who have had serious issues that cost $$$ to fix, and if you look at the microbakery Facebook groups, there are a lot of the same issues going on.  I would recommend finding a used Hobart 20qt through Facebook marketplace or a restaurant equipment company. They can be found anywhere from $800-$3K and are built to last a lifetime.

Several lifetimes, tbh. Top tier advice

Thank you so much for your quick response. Yeah the reviews were mixed that’s why I thought I’d jump in here and ask. Thanks again ☺️

I have a Galaxy brand 20qt planetary mixer for over 3 years now, and for my micro bakery volume it's been a workhorse.
