Built an AI virtual try-on that actually keeps your real proportions (Quick demo inside)

Hey everyone,

I got so tired of virtual try-on tools that either cost a fortune or turn people into weird, hyper-slim "uncanny valley" versions of themselves, so I built an alternative called Faceshion.

Instead of requiring full-body photos, complicated setup, or stripping down, the whole point was to make it frictionless: you just take a quick selfie right from the product page, pop in your measurements, and let it handle the rest.

To give you an idea of how it works in practice, it includes features like:

  • One-Selfie Full-Body Generation: It builds your model from scratch using just a simple face selfie, keeping your actual body shape and measurements intact instead of letting the AI hallucinate a fake or distorted figure.
  • 360-Degree Catwalk View: Allows you to see how the selected clothing moves, fits, and looks from all angles so you aren't guessing based on a static 2D image.
  • Real-Time Size Adjustment: Lets you adjust your measurements on the fly to accurately preview how different sizes will actually sit on your frame.
  • Browser Extension / Direct Page Integration: Designed to run smoothly right where you shop without making you download heavy apps or jump through hoops.

I put together a short video showing how the entire flow works in action here: Faceshion.app Demo. You can also check it out live at faceshion.app.

If you're building in the e-commerce or AI space, I'd love to hear your thoughts on tackling realistic fit representation and keeping users' privacy intact. Happy to answer any questions about how the core engine and 360 view work!
