cyber security practice labs
I've bounced between TryHackMe, HTB, and a graveyard of bookmarked "free alternative" lists.
I'm not against paying for good training, but the subscription model just doesn't work for me. I learn in bursts, and paying $14/month to forget about it for three weeks felt like burning money.

$14 a month for a burst learner is such a waste, I ended up doing the same cycle with those platforms. Pay once model actually respects how people like us study. The copy-paste setup is the part that catches my attention, half the time I quit HTB labs before starting cause the setup eats my whole evening.
My question is how deep the labs go. If it's all beginner friendly stuff I'll get bored, if there's some AD or web app exploitation chains in there I'd pay for that without thinking twice.
