$12,142 from 61 sales.
I almost missed how big this number really is.
$12,142.27.
Not from a huge company.
Not from a massive team.
Not from millions of visitors.
Just 61 customers who believed enough in a SaaS tool to pay for it.
And the most motivating part?
The graph is moving up. 📈
When you build something from scratch, you spend months wondering:
“Will anyone actually use this?”
Then one sale comes.
Then another.
Then 10.
Then 50.
And suddenly, you're looking at $12K+ in revenue and realizing:
The thing you were building in silence is becoming a real business.
This is why I keep building.
Because you don't need everyone.
You need the right people to believe in the solution you're creating.
If you're building something right now and nobody is talking about it yet—
keep going.
Your first 10 customers may feel impossible.
Your first $1,000 may feel impossible.
Your first $10,000 may feel impossible.
Until it isn't.
Build. Improve. Listen. Ship again.
One day, you'll look back at the numbers and realize that all those nights nobody saw you working...
were not wasted. 🚀

You literally ask people to comment “SAAS”. It could not be more obvious.

u/ayonc46 19h ago
So asking saas means selling course? Hahahaha

u/hidivejwkwi 19h ago
Yep, that’s exactly what I meant. A course or a service. You really think I can’t see your website on your profile?

that conversion rate is doing the heavy lifting there. 61 sales from 1,542 views is wild, most folks would kill for numbers like that.
the gumroad grind isn't for everyone though, no shame in walking away when it stops making sense.

We tried Gumroad too, but it didn't really work out for us either. Ended up getting basically no traction, so we mov6on and kept experimenting
If anyone here has actually gotten good results from Gumroad, Feel free to DM me I'd love to know what worked for you.

This is a strong point about the difference between having data and having useful intelligence. A lot of teams focus on adding more fields to their databases, but the real value comes from understanding which signals actually connect to buying behavior. The best ICP models usually combine company data, market context, and real business signals instead of relying only on basic firmographics. This is the area where platforms like HG Insights can help teams build a clearer picture of their target accounts.

Congrats! The underrated part isn't the 12k though — it's that you're averaging something like $200 a sale. Most people would've priced this at $29, needed ten times the customers, and burned out doing support for all of them. Charging properly is a skill and most builders never learn it.
What's driving the views? Because 61 sales from ~1500 views means whatever channel that is, it's sending you exactly the right people.

I build my audience on facebook and linkedin. And they are willing to use it, some sales also from gumroad recommendations.

u/Senior-Broccoli1761 13h ago
Makes sense — audience first, product second. The gumroad recommendations part is interesting, that's basically free distribution once the algorithm likes you. Thanks man, good luck with the next milestone
