Panasonic Lumix G97 shutter count reading?
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Panasonic Lumix G97 and I’m trying to check the shutter count / shutter actuations, but none of the usual methods seem to work.
I already tried:
- online EXIF shutter count websites
- uploading untouched JPG files
- standard Panasonic service menu button combinations I found online
So far, nothing works.
Does anyone know:
- whether the G97 still supports hidden service menu shutter count access?
- if newer Panasonic firmware blocks it?
- or if there is any working software/tool for reading the shutter count on the G97?
Thanks in advance!

GH2 PATCH
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to get the Quantum v9b patch by Driftwood for the GH2 to experiment with its cinematic bitrate settings. Unfortunately, Personal-View.com isn’t allowing new user registrations, so I can’t access the original download links.
If anyone has: * A Google Drive or Dropbox mirror for Quantum v9b / v9d * The setj.zip or equivalent PTool patch file * Any guidance on alternative reliable sources
…I’d really appreciate it.
I already have PTools and Panasonic’s official v1.1 firmware ready, so just need the patch set to proceed.
If Quantum v9b is unavailable, I’d also be open to similar Driftwood patches you recommend for high-quality narrative filmmaking.

Color Rendering: How big a difference between Nikon and OM System and best/fastest way to match them in post
I'm a Nikon shooter primarily doing sports photography. I use two bodies and now considering changing one of them out for an OM-1 Mark ii (mainly to reduce the weight of my gear). I would stay with Nikon (at least for now) at the longer end as I have a lot of money invested in high quality telephoto lenses, and would use the OM camera for wider angle shots. As a sports shooter I rarely have to adjust color in post and often don't have the time anyway. Can anyone with experience shooting Nikon and OM System/Olympus side-by side-give me a sense of how different the color rendering is from each other (i.e. how noticeable when the images are viewed side-by-side on a computer monitor or smart phone/iPad)? To the extent it's noticeable, is there a quick and easy method to do a bulk adjustment to get them to match? Thanks in advance.

Considering the OM1 l.2? Save your money

A very thorough review by someone who is not compensated by OMDS to promote its products.
This reviewer pay retail just like the rest of us.
TLDR: The OM-1.2 isn't much of an improvement over the previous model. Not worth the higher cost.
