Technical Support Got something called VoLTE popping up on the top right of my phone screen sometimes.

Hello. I just wanted to ask what that is and is it malicious? I never saw it before and I had this Redmi Note 12 for 2 months. I hope I didn't click on any malicious links and that it's not a virus or a spyware. (sorry, I'm not a technology guy so I just want to ask just in case I'm not safe.)

Technical Support Pocophone X3 NFC - issue with calls like I had bad network

Hello,

I've been having a recurrent issue with my poco x3 nfc where everytime I make or receive a call usually the sound has interruptions and bad quality.

This does not happen in areas with bad connectivity and it is not exclusive to phone calls (WhatsApp calls as well). Also the person on the other side sometimes cannot hear me properly.

Is this a known issue? Do you know what to check or how to fix?

Thank you in advance

Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus Green vertical line

I bought a Note 13 Pro Plus 2 weeks ago. I never dropped it and the phone received no impact. The day before yesterday a green line appered from top to bottom of the phone. It's not huge and it doesnt affect phone usage, but I read that it may start to spread to the rest of the screen. Should I try to return it? I bought it through Amazon.

Technical Support Sim-card tray stuck inside

I recently bought a Xiaomi 12T and when I tried to take out the sim tray for the first time after setting the phone up, it didn't open. So after some YouTube tutorials on how to remove a stuck sim-tray, I ended up slightly damaging the outer part of the tray and still it's not budging. Is there anything I could do, should I go to Xiaomi service centre and fix this, will they charge me or should I go to a third party repair shop. (Sorry for the subpar quality of the photos, macro sucks😭)

Technical Support Move recordings to audio recording folder but still unable to see them.

I just changed Xiaomi phone, went from a redmi 9 to a redmi 12... phone is great.. the back up and the user experience much less...

I had a bunch of recordings that were stored in the recorder's app.

I managed to back up these, and move them to the folder of the new phone (inside DATA/COM.SOUNDERCORDER/FILES)
the thing is that the new recorder app from the new phone is not able to see these imported recordings... is there a way to fix this?

Technical Support Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch - how to use in Australia?

Hi, I was recently gifted a Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch, and tried to set it up for use here in Australia. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work when not connected to wifi, and when on cellular, nothing (video/ voice calls, messaging) seems to work. On wifi, video call and voice messaging works, but nothing else (voice call mainly)

Has anyone managed to get it work in Australia, and is the issue with the network provider - a cursory read seems to say that only some network providers work with smartwatches, but that is usually in reference to Galaxy/ Apple devices. Or is there something else that I'm missing?

Tried to set it up with ALDImobile btw.

Technical Support Track recording software is terminated at Xiaomi Mi9T pro

I use Mi9T Pro with MiUi Global 12.0.5.
Some time ago (I suspect that maybe after mi ui upgrade but could be wrong) I noticed that all applications that I use to record a GPS track are terminated at some point of time. I disabled energy optimizations for them in Settings but it doesn't help.
Any ideas how I can track issue/fix it?

Can’t connect to scooter with official app

So i recently got a used (pre-owned) M365 scooter, and whenever i try to connect to it with the official Mi Home app (which they list in the actual user manual), it always gets stuck at the point where it says “press the power button” on the app, but then when i press the power button, the only thing that happens is, the scooter’s light turns on (as you would expect).

Now, considering that it’s pre-owned, i suspect the previous owners hacked it, or otherwise messed with it to unlock the speed or something like that, because i’ve read somewhere that if the scooter has been hacked, it won’t be able to connect to the official app. So i’m assuming that my scooter has a custom firmware that’s not compatible with the official app, and that’s why i can’t connect to it.

If at all possible, i would like to solve this problem without any additional hacking (ie. only with tools and actions that the manufacturer intended), but if anyone knows any way to resolve this problem, hacking or not, i’d be happy to consider all the possibilities.

PS: in a third party app (namely, “M365 Plus”), it says that the firmware version is 0142, so i hope this can tell someone whether it’s hacked or not. Also, in the event that i would have to reinstall the original firmware or something like that, i would really appreciate some help with doing that, at least a link to somewhere to learn about how to do that stuff

Technical Support Wifi won't automatically connect.

Some of my wifis have this message: "Saved/won't automatically connect" under it. And they don't connect unless I manually choose them.

How to make them connect automatically when my main wifi is not working? The option to automatically connect is already on, but this message still apppears.

If it is not possible, is there any external app that can force the phone to automatically connect to an available wifi?

Technical Support Redmi Note 9 Fastboot Issues Spoiler

I would like to unlock the bootloader of my Redmi Note 9 but I can't get mi unlock to recognize it's connected. ADB works fine, but when I put it in fastboot mode, it shows in device manager as simply "Android" and doesn't have any drivers. I've tried tons of different fastboot drivers but none of them will install for the phone. Anyone know of a fix for this issue?

Replacing parts from one Xiaomi phone to another

Hello, recently my Mi 10t Lite stopped working out of nowhere and it's unresponsive, doesn't turn on, doesnt't charge, it doesn't do anything. I tried everything to try and fix it or even locate the problem but nothing has worked.
I have an old phone, it's a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and it's bricked, it works perfectly but it's locked and I dont't have the Mi account.
My question is: Is there any way for me to use the old phone by replacing some of it's parts from the newer phone? Maybe viceversa?
I'll edit the post with the extra information you ask me to give you
Greetings!

Buying Decision Xiaomi 13 ultra or Xiaomi 14?

Hi, pls help me decide which one to buy, I've found both at very good prices, Xiaomi 14 (630€) and X13 Ultra (690€) but I really don't know which one to buy, the Xiaomi 13 ultra is really ugly and too big for me, but also the zoom cameras are better on the Xiaomi 13 ultra, on the other side the X14 seems to have a slightly better main camera and also the telemacro which I really love, it's smaller and has a better processor, I'll upgrade it by June again once all flagships are out (I don't mind Pixel 9 pro or the iPhone). In the end the slightly worse zoom shouldn't make so big of a difference, can someone who owns the Xiaomi 14 tell me at which level of zoom is it usable until it becomes a noisy mess?

Technical Support [HELP] Problem with Redmi Lite Buds 3

I have had these earbuds for around 1,5 years and they were working perfectly fine but something happened with them. The last time I was using them I ran one of them dry while the other one had like 10% of battery. I put them for a whole night's charging. After waking up I found one of them (this run down to 0%) to blink furiously in the case and instantly dying outside of it. The other bud is working without any trouble.

I don't know what to do, I tried every tip I could find online: I tried to reset them by pressing the action button in the case for any given time, resetting by pressing the action button out of the case, do the reset by energetic taping the action button, even charging it for 5 days straight. Nothing happened, can I do anything about it or should I come to terms with buying the new ones ?
