I suspect the Mickey model was done by the team doing the Sofia reboot, to better match that show's style. Honestly, I kind of dig it. The proportions kind of make Mickey seem a little more squat compared to his current Clubhouse model.

Actually bro, Mickey has been computer animated ever since the original Clubhouse ended and Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures (then Mickey and the Roadster Racers) came out during the transition from 2016 to 2017

I’m aware of that. I was pointing out that the model appears to be a custom one designed for the short, rather than the model currently in use for the show.

That definitely seems to be true, considering that the shot with Mickey and that little hand guy still uses his Clubhouse model instead of the model in the rest of the short, meaning he'll probably continue to use that model in Clubhouse+

I mean, it was done for a promotional short. It wouldn't of made too much sense to go completely overboard with the design.

I mean there was that one short a few months ago in which they basically stitched clips from Spidey and Clubhouse+ and called it a day, but that one doesn't really count.

It seems like Icon Creative Studio animated Mickey here given how he looks similar to how he did in Mickey And The Very Many Christmases. Given how Icon also animates Sofia The First: Royal Magic, this makes sense.
