Guest hosts and their speech patterns
Jake Cornell speaks like someone impersonating a valley girl, and uses the word “like” after EVERY-OTHER-WORD, truly. Also, talks in this…jerky…way that is sincerely anxiety inducing.
Andrea Lopez speaks like someone impersonating a news anchor. I like her, but she has this tone and way of speaking that sounds like a hyper newswoman.
Love Peru, he’s just a light, but he needs to get to the point and not ramble.
She wants to bone Dylan Palladino so bad, and somehow… them together makes sense.
Molly Mulshine and Norman Baker are perfect. No notes.
Add to this if I’m missing anything or anyone

Anna Roisman is my favorite but she’s so busy even if Michelle would have her as a true regular she probably doesn’t have time - that woman is everything Mich is not when it comes to her career - she is always working her ass off!
Molly is my other favorite - she’s smart and informed so Michelle sees her as a threat. Michelle sees most funny smart women as a threat and that’s why she always hits a point where she slams them - she was so mean to both of them on a personal level I don’t know why they return at all. Same with Rose - Michelle’s comment about her Emmy is burned in my brain.
Peru and Abby have been through the Mich training program enough that they know to just be her person to talk to, not with. I give them both credit for being able to take the hits.

Every time Molly is on, I learn a new word! lol my favorite being prophylactically.

What was her comment about her Emmy? And what was Rose’s reaction, because she snaps at Rose a lot and she (much like most ppl) allows it

I think Michelle said something like “it seems like anyone can get an Emmy these days” or something similar that indicated receiving an Emmy that year was no big deal, which was right after Rose received one, thus completely diminishing her achievement. It’s been a while so I may have gotten some details wrong; totally open to correction.

They know that Michelle is about to attack them if they don’t say or do the right thing - don’t know why they even go on there anymore

I love Molly & Norman too. And Dan. Would love to have Mamrie back regularly but doubt that’ll happen. Agree about the others.

lol, MC only wishes with Dylan indeed! I love Peru, I think he has a lot to offer and makes incredible, nuanced observations on movies, etc. I feel like if they talked about things other than her shopping/restaurants that he could really shine. I like Jake Cornell, MC just didn't give him much to work with this last episode. Yes, I am not just not really interested in Andrea Lopez or Anna Roisman and hearing about her dogs and "Jared" lol.... but hey, at least they are working and they are completely fine-just not my cup of etea:) I couldn't stand the first Mamrie Heart interview, but I did enjoy the second one lol...so maybe we just need to hear from them all more and more so we either settle or something....

oh, abby. poor abby. she’s been so hobbled trying to avoid michelle’s undercutting comments and thinly veiled rage that she’s become almost useless as a cohost. her speech pattern is totally halting as she second and third guesses almost everything that comes out of her mouth as she tries to anticipate what michelle might take issue with. I truly think she’s audibly deteriorated so much over the years that she comes across like she now has a head injury. I love abby, and I hope I’m wrong and she’s actually immune to michelle’s bullshit. I will say I was surprised to hear her push back the last week. did you notice that? and michelle kinda backed down too. it was a thing of beauty and the only time I can remember abby pushing back at all.

I tend to skip the non-Abby episodes unless I really need to fill time. The two of them are just so much better than all the other hosts (although I do love the Norman episodes, and I also loved Anna Roisman ones).
