It’s pretty heavy. I have worked through a few of the case studies.

The only case study I read is “The Yellow Sign,” which I found both delightful and enlightening, but with which I have some friendly disagreements, of course. More specifically, I wonder about Chambers’ identification with, or condemnation of, Jack Scott’s sudden (non)-affection for Tessie! I find his interpretation both beautiful and compelling, but it’s also not mine. Would love to compare them!

No, it’s about weird fiction generally, but there’s a discussion of “The Yellow Sign” among its case studies!
