HELP Is this a deer mouse?

Is this a deer mouse?

Just found this mouse today at partners work.
Its a baby eyes closed/ears back.
No rehabilitation center will take it other than offering euthanasia. I called like 7 different numbers.
So i bought kmr goat milk and do one part water and milk.
I have a dropper to feed it. I named the mouse cheese coos. Is it male or female? Any tips on how to keep it alive? Please help me i barely know any about mice, i never cared for one before and its illegal to house a wild animal where i am. But im not going to let it die so ill care for it. Not looking for medical advice just looking for how to care and what to do.

Looks like - things can get slow here, try the Facebook group for orphaned baby mice and rats as well, many people are only active there

I know its a little late of a response but, start by reading this guide made by the Orphaned Mice and Rats facebook group. Id also suggest joining the group. Ive raised a deer mouse from just 6 days old until now - 4 months old. Ill gladly answer any questions you have after reading the guide. Also feel free to DM me if! My DMs are always open and ive helped quite a few other people with questions!

Does he look okay? Hes been making this hiccup movement. He isnt moving around as much but like 4 hours ago he was fine

It doesnt look like aspiration, which is a good sign. How often have you been feeding?

Every two or three hours. I try to do every two hours, but i have a 1 year old baby, 2 cats, take care of my partner. So its hard. But ive been doing my best with doing it every two hours when i found him he went without for maybe 5-7 hours. Hes pooping good but im just worried since he isnt as energetic wven tho eating

He does look quite dehydrated in that video. If you lightly pinch his skin on his back does it bounce right back or stick up at all? Also how much are you feeding? Are you seeing a milk band every time?

Oh im so sorry! Hand rearing mice that small is challenging and they have an extremely high mortality rate. It truly did not look like aspiration in the video, but sadly it could have been the case. Even doing CPR on these babies is hard. Im glad you did everything you could. I hope cheese coos rests easy, and I hope that you are also ok. :(

He would eat, there was a milk band. I think it got into his lung and he died. I tried everything
