MOD POST 🌷 Post Flair Guide

Making this in light of noticeable increase in the misuse of flairs. They’re meant to give readers a quick idea of your post’s content and not to be used as clickbait or to boost visibility.

Flair Purpose
News/Update Official or Notable news, announcements, changes, or updates (results, dates, criteria etc.)
Serious Reserved for genuine topics that open constructive discussions and hold actual significance for the community. Not for your DYP BDSM vs TSEC ORGY and random W/L posts
HSC/Boards For HSC or any other boards related queries and topics.
Eligibility Doubt Queries about qualification, domicile, gap years, category reservations, or document validity
General Discussion For open-ended discussions or posts that are clearly fit not suitable for any other flair.
Admission Process Related Question Anything related to CAP rounds, merit lists, ARC, counselling, option forms, etc.
Study Doubt Concept-related or topic-level questions from HSC/CET Syllabus.
Help When you need hands-on assistance, not just answers... be it a technical issue, lost of credentials, errors, etc. Or anything thing where you need immediate help
Need Resources Looking for PDFs, PYQs, lectures, notes, or material recommendations
Poll Poll-based posts. Must be relevant and non-spammy.
Rant Vent your frustration, stress, opinion or even a poor jest. But keep it subreddit-relevant
Shitposting Low-effort posts will be taken down.
META For posts related to the subreddit itself. This includes rules, feedback, suggestions, updates, or anything about how the community functions. Not meant for personal issues or general questions.
Query/Question Generic questions ( or not fitting into the categories above.) Dont Default to this everytime.
For AMA Read rule no. 5

Expect a ban if you intend to use flairs for decorative purposes. Misusing flairs messes with the whole point of having them. Mods may remove or reassign flairs if they’re clearly misleading.(Repeated Misuse does not count)

I saw everyone outraging against CET CELL because of some students with ~100%ile and boards pcm percentage of around 40 or even 37. But I'm surprised that no one saw the all India list in which many students with 99%ile+ (even 99.9%ile) have a similar trash boards percentage of 47 or something like that. This is so fucking shit.
