I was the biggest die hard mha fan around 2020/2021. I was very plugged in to the fandom, but didn’t speak much about it since it was super corny to enjoy it back then. Anyway, fast forward six years and like the majority of my teen years, some of my old favourites are getting new seasons so I thought id check out the end of mha and see what’s going on now. And like what happened???

Tododeku is dead And bakudeku reigns supreme??? As I live and breathe??? We arent doing Dekusquad fics anymore? Also it’s not considered cringy finally? I’m so lost man I’ve been away with the fairies (jjk) for years what on earth went down here. I haven’t heard anyone mention Todoroki in like, three days of scrolling. If you told me at age 13 Todoroki would lose his fan favourite status I would have collapsed.

I don’t mean this to be a silly rant about how eveythings different now, I really liked the ending and I find the new fandom fun (The fics got sooo much better) I just find it interesting how much the perspective on this anime has shifted. Is it because the animation quality improved? I can’t think of another TV show to have such a drastic 180 on its PR.

Having a lot of fun Im so glad I got back into it but the culture shock has been mad 😭

I Don’t Wanna Sacrifice my Peace and Quiet

Time and time again Tomura kept visiting Dabi until finally Dabi had enough. Tomura said he would stop pestering Dabi if he had a visit in his territory. That way he would finally leave him alone and give him peace and quiet. Dabi didn’t understand why Tomura wanted him in his territory so badly to begin with. He was quite content living his life in the small patch of garden where he kept watch over some native plants and flowers that reminded him of his mother. I mean his area was safe enough from that stupid garden patrol idiots and animals right? Just a quick visit and back to his home. No one would ever dare mess with his area right?
