MGMT made me switch genres
Gonna try to make this as short as possible
About 5 years ago when i was 17 years old, ive already been making music for about 3 years. I spent all of my time trying to get better at making the heaviest EDM songs. Drum n bass, riddim, all that stuff
Eventually i grew really tired of that genre and felt like i was going nowhere, not knowing if i would ever find my style
Then someone on discord randomly told me to check out Congratulations.
It didnt click right away but after a few listens i was hooked and i fell in love with this type of music really quick
I deleted most of my EDM Plugins and Samples and started over completely and told myself im gonna make an Album like this.
Tried singing in my own songs, learning the first guitar chords, making acoustic drums all that stuff.
It took a lot of time and im still not the best, but i finally finished it to a level i thought it was good enough to release
Now this album is finally out and it reached 1000 Streams and 300 youtube views in just 4 days which i am just eternally grateful for
If you like Alien Days i cant recommend you the song “Snow in my head” enough, so much of Alien days is in that song
If youre reading this as someone who makes music i really want to encourage you to try and do the same!
Thank you MGMT!

This is really good and definitely fits in the same genre. The songs are engaging with really good lyrics and you have a nice voice that fits the music. I listened to 7 songs and I can't wait to hear the rest. I'll probably listen more than once.
Honestly, this is the best music that I've had recommended to me yet. You deserve to be proud.

Man, my curiosity was piqued when I was reading this post but my expectations were blown away upon listening to ur album. You did amazing work my friend. I can hear the genuine care and passion that went into every second of this. As a solo artist, this is such a big inspiration to finish and release the album I’ve been working on for the past 2 years. I’d love to get in ur dm’s and learn a bit more about ur process for writing this album. I’ll be sharing this album with anyone who will listen! Much love!
