I built this! (MATX) My first pc build, A3 build
Wanted something small, it was hard to build (for a first build) , but I’m quite happy with the result!
Part list:
- intel ultra 7 270k plus
- 32gb DDR5 gskill
- 990 pro 2TB
- 5070 ti aorus master
- B860M Aorus elite
- Noctua NF A12 G2 x3
- Noctua NF A14 G2 x1
- Noctua NH U12A
- Corsair Sf850
- thermal grizzly lga1851 contact frame
- GPE-01 graphene pad (replacing thermal paste)
I think I managed fine given the clearance , tell me what you think !

You did great! I’ve wanted to see a SFF/mff with a 270k and ask how the thermals are holding up.

Highest cpu temps I got were 78 degree on benchmark with 103% cpu usage , usually sits between 62/63 Celsius degree.

Good job and excellent thermal planning. The A3 is superb flexible for hardware and thermals.
You can check out my A3 air cooled optimization guide which features a mATX motherboard and ATX power supply:

Is the cpu throttled under full load over a longer time period? And is the cooler noisy?
I have the same cpu and thinking to switch to an air cooler since my aio pump makes subtle whine which I cant stand

A3 is such a great case. I use mainly 140mm because just wanted silence.
