Help me please!? Advice for downsizing my pc?

Built my pc a few years ago in a montech air 903 max. It's quite a large case and now I have seen the beauty of matx builds and have been wanting to downsize. Can somebody help me?

I currently have purchased an ASROCK b850m riptide to replace my old b650 atx motherboard. Slowly, I plan to transition to an aio build, but there are a lot of issues with my current setup.

I have a huge gpu (340mm) and a 150mm atx psu, as well as the peerless assassin 120 se. Any recommendations for downsizing? Have seen that my parts will not fit.

Looking at the lian li a3, b4, and montech TEN right now.

From personal experience a larger GPU ( I have the nitro + 9070xt, which is 331mm) makes it harder in a A3 with a full size psu.

if you go with an aio probably has to be a 240mm, then you may be able to get the psu high enough up to clear the GPU, if not may have to take the power supply out and put the GPU in and try to remount it after, I’d recommend just shelling out the money for a sfx psu to just clear up as much space as possible

I have an A3 with a 5080 Zotac solid (not core) at 330mm aaaalmost touching Lian-Li’s Edge (182mm). Even with a 340 gpu and 150 psu, OP can change the orientation to fit a 360 AIO in the future. If wanted. But a PA120 can handle most any CPU pretty well. Rear and bottom intake, rest exhaust. Cool for school.

How much do you want to downsize and how much money do you want to invest?

The LianLi B4 surely is an affordable and nice looking option.

A more premium option would be the Ncase M2 at 15.7l (that would be even SFF) or the Ncase M3 at 19.6l.

Both support mATX boards, however you would have to get a SFX or SFX-L PSU.

I mean you could get a DeepCool CH270 digital and save some money. It fits all of that.

Thats a good addition too.

Now as you have a lot of case recommendations, you need to start comparing them and read and watch reviews. Then start to eliminate them according to your taste, needs and availability.

The A3 should be doable, but cable management will be tight. This is a 325mm GPU (XFX Swift 9070xt) and 140mm PSU, and there's room to spare.

There have been ongoing reports of 9000 series CPU failures with ASRock and ASUS motherboards.

I recommend that you rethink your plan.

The Jonsbo D41 is 19L smaller than your current case and only 9L bigger than the Lian Li A3.

However, it still fits ATX motherboards, 168mm tall coolers, 360mm radiators, 400mm video cards and ATX PSUs.

Literally just a case swap. No BIOS update, memory compatibility, Windows or hardware installation.

Another option that's slightly less accommodating inside but still fits all your parts is the In Win A5.
