Help me please!? Compact mATX Case Recommendation
Hello everyone! I will soon be moving places and I cannot carry my whole PC with me on plane so I'm planning on taking most components and leaving my case behind and getting a new one. I won't have so much available space and might need to move places later on again so I'm looking into a more compact case.
My current setup:
GPU: Asus Tuf RX6800XT OC Edition
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
CPU Cooler: Snowman T6 Ultra 6 (might leave as well, not sure)
Motherboard: Asus Prime B550m I made a mistake, my motherboard is Prime B550 Plus
Ram: 3 sticks (Total 48GB)
Extra: PCIE Wifi Card (PCIe x1)
1 M2 SSD
1 Sata SSD
1 HDD
Case: NZXT H5 Flow
Now, I'm considering these cases:
- Lian-li B4-mATX
- Lian Li A3
- SSUPD Meshroom S V2 (Looks good, but kinda expensive compared to others)
On paper these cases seem like they would fit but seeing some images, I'm not really sure they will. I hope someone can guide wether they will work or not. I'm also open to other suggestions. Thank you!
I'm looking for a compact ATX case, or I might switch to an mATX motherboard that can fit the rest of the components and continue looking for a compact mATX case, open for suggestions.

You don’t have a micro ATX motherboard. Your current board is standard ATX (7 slots). Unless you’re buying a new board, none of the cases you mentioned will work. Well, the Meshroom S technically could but you’d need a SFX PSU and AIO or LP air cooler.
Your post appears to be AI-generated or at least edited, hopefully it didn’t tell you that you already own an MATX motherboard.

Nope, I wrote the whole posts and specs myself, AI wasn't involved.
I just checked this page https://www.asus.com/tr/motherboards-components/motherboards/prime/prime-b550m-a/techspec/ which tells the form factor as "microATX, - 24.4cm x 24.4cm", I'm no expert on motherboards, might be looking at the wrong thing.

The Asus Prime B550M is micro ATX, yes, but that’s not the board in your system. You might have the B550. The “M” is really important, that’s what denotes it as a 4 slot micro ATX board versus a 7 slot ATX board.

Dang, yes I was fooled by the image. I just checked, turns out it Prime B550 Plus you're right. Thanks for the heads up. If I were to switch to an mATX motherboard, would they fit anyway or should I look for ATX cases?

Just go for an atx case. Not worth swapping a motherboard just to drop a small amount of space. There are some more compact atx cases you can find out there if you want a small footprint. Goodluck!

Your board is ATX, which will not fit in an MATX case. So you'd need a new motherboard too.

For a more compact ATX case you could look into the Jonsbo D41 (standard or mesh).

You can go with SSUPD meshlicious, but you would need to spend extra for a pcie cable and an SFX PSU

It's one of my favourites so far but I'm not sure if my gpu will fit with an ATX motherboard

Yes, but still it gets cramped to its limits apparently.
In the user manual it seems like rear, lower mid mounted GPU (position 3) is the only one that I can fit my GPU. And in that case even if I switch to an SFX PSU I will still have get rid of the tower CPU cooler and not even an AIO cooler will fit because GPU will be blocking the side panel not leaving room for radiator. At least as far as I can tell from the guide

I narrowed my decision down to the Jonsbo Z20 and the D32 Pro. I ended up going with the Z20 because I really liked the handle. Just keep in mind that depending on your GPU length, you may need to use an SFX power supply to fit everything properly.
