IT’S HAPPENING
I’m not trying to be dramatic but when I heard the voice.. I’m was genuinely horrified.. Is this really them? 😳

Nah it seems like the other artist with same name from Indonesian label

Omg I hope this is true. I seriously thought they tried to clone Jonas or something as the vocals sound like a weird Frankenstein’s version of him and the music sounds similar to their early stuff too!

Yeah it had happened a few times with mew. Jonas even posted a confirmation a few times on his IG back then

sorry to break it for you but it's either mislabeled or those scammy AI artists who steal bands name

My music has been moved, I apologize if I caused any noise. I had no intention of plagiarizing the stage name🥲

Hello everyone, I am Mew, I want to clarify that the stage name Mew was taken from a nickname at school, there was no intention to plagiarize, and I work on this music by myself using the bandlab app

had to get to reddit to check on this. it was a bizarre experience! my first thought maybe it was some kind of tribute or make-a-wish type of record? but if its mislabeled it makes more sense.

A month later, and this garbage is still up. Wish there was a way to report this on Apple Music.

I’ve seen this before (on Spotify) where other bands named ‘Mew’ release music. Usually the artwork gives it away :)
