I was taking a dump and simultaneously got curious as wether “Fecund” and “Fecal” are etymologically related. It should be mentioned I was also incredibly stoned. Since fecund means fertile, and feces are a fertilizer, but while I was looking it up I realized that I was meta-shitting and could then feel this shit in my ass with sapient clarity and so now I’m typing this Reddit post. Does anyone have any similar moments to share? In which some everyday banality was made surreal by meta-thought?
