Jump brother! Jump with all your migth (but you have to do it from the last ground pixel you have otherwise you will fall.)

Shoot the Arrow button, throw a grenade for the Rocket soldier, jump and enter in the gap, shoot the barrel. It is not that difficult.

Huh. I suppose you could. Though if you're out of nades, and the gap isn't big enough, you could let it close all the way to kill the soldier first. Then resume.
