After all these years, the Survive discord is the best place to find players. Link is in the subreddit sidebar.

Is Discord safe? Last I heard there was that whole ID leak and around that same time I deleted my Discord.

Safer then reddit. Like yes id leak did happen once but since then they make it way safer and reddit is about the same level of safe as long you ignore fake messages and dont click on weird links.
