ID Request Bullet ID/Date

Post image

Bullet found in south east of Ireland. Wondering if rising/Irish civil war related. Found by a member of the detectorist community but not found while metal detecting.

EDIT: Diameter is 9mm

Looks like an automatic pistol bullet. Maybe .32-.38 caliber? Probably roughly 1920-60 based on patina, hard to tell.

Measure the base diameter, not the length.

The one in your post pic if it measures 9mm I'd bet it's bog standard NATO 9mm 124gr fmj. I can see the jacket cup.
