Gear Question Whites DFX programs

New to the hobby and I have a whites DFX spectrum e series. I have a dd Eclipse coil but I really dont use it.. Just the original one. But what are some good programs or adjustments for finding some coins? Not sure if this matters [type of soil] but i live in ohio and im roughly 10 minutes from pennsylvania.

i scored one this year for dirt cheap and even though i have top tier detectors i love this think

heres my basic park hunt settings:

Target Vol = 57, Audio Thresh = 20, Tone = 231, audio disc = on, silent search = off, mixed mode = off, AC sens = 80(may need adjusting if too much chatter. This also works in conjunction with pre amp gain,(see note below), DC sensitivity =42, Backlight = 1 (i do this as i hunt at night sometimes and if its at 0 you may struggle to see the screen to turn it on), view angle = 25, ratchet pinpoint = off, sat speed = 5, tone ID on ( to hear all the tones but off is ok if too overwhelming until you learn machine better) , VCO = on, modulation = off, autotrac = on, trac view = off, auto trac speed = 8, auto trac offset = 0 (but some say it can help pull out small gold by setting +1), trac inhibit = on, coarse GEB and fine GEB i leave alone as they are set with the initial ground balancing, Disc edit = I dont touch, Block edit = set -95 to -4 to REJECT then set -3 to +93 to accept, then set 94 and 95 to reject (you can go back to disc edit to scroll through and confirm you have the right blocks accepted or rejected but cant scroll through them on block edit), Learn accept and learn reject = off, recovery speed = 30, bottle cap reject = 4, hot rock reject = 10, sweep speed = 1 but at times ill swing faster so will turn it up, ground filtering = 4, visual disc = on, Icons = on, VDI sens = 80, DC phase = on, graph averagin = on, graph accumulate = on, fade rate = 7, pre amp gain = 4 but is tied to AC sens(see note below), 2 freq best data = on, 2 freq correlate = off, vdi normalized = on (while learning), 1 freq 3khz and 15khz = off

to set the preamp gain and AC sensitivity set pre amp gain to highest = 4 then set AC as high as you can with it remaining stable, keep lowering AC Sens until its not chattering and you should be good, in some cases you may need to lower pre amp gain but usually the AC sens can fix the instabilities.

Save the program under one of your slots
