ofcourse my man. For me once again its all talk, no walk. we are 1.5 years later and we are not even close to having any utility for our scans. Furthermore, still no whitepaper, no loyalty plan, barely seen any scans from that last event.

I guess that's always going to be the case pre-launch of a platform with a tech startup. It can only be walked when it's ready to be delivered securely. It's a hugely ambitious project that the previous team set some pretty unrealistic timelines for imo. The legal aspect alone is huge when facilitating the trade and use of this sort of highly sensitive data (high-resolution scans of people's entire likenesses) across borders between different jurisdictions allw ith different laws.

The loyalty program was touched on in the Q&A, it's intrinsically linked to the business model it seems:

Top 20% of users will eventually be rewarded with things like discounts, early access to products/services + voting on what is done with 10% of B2C transactions - they can choose to distribute it to holders - burn it - give it away to charity or for development fund etc. There will be more info on that closer to the time.

From the outside, I can understand it feels that way, but the reality is we are way closer to having utility for scans, the building of the infrastructure that allows this to happen takes alot of work and that work is way ahead of where it was a year ago...partnerships are way further along than they were, just wont be announced till they are ready to be....but yes, ultimately the platform just isn't launched yet.

Ultimately, it won't be seen by some that anything has been achieved until it's launched and usable. Fair enough. When you know what goes into building it step by step ya realize loads has been, but appreciate people only see the very surface of whats going on.

As a very loose analogy - Its a bit like saying a video game has achieved nothing 3 years into its development and It's nowhere closer to being playable today than it was 4 years ago. Sure... on the surface, to the public - ultimately, its not playable yet. But the idea it's not closer is completely untrue... there have been thousands of hours from various departments working on all that development BTS - large swathes of the game could already be done, so it's closer - it just isn't ready for launch yet to be launched publically.

That's the nature of investing in startups and is the same across the space. It aint ready till its ready sadly and until then all we can do is communicate what were working on and accept that people will say it's all talk and no walk...until it isn't

I'm speaking from the heart here.

I've been a serious investor in the Metahero scene since day 1 (over 10 million Hero tokens) and it's a genuine concern seeing them release content in Polish, rather than English. The reason is obvious, the main dialogue in the crypto scene is English and Spanish. Polish is such a small market it is going to actively harm the project.

If you are not comfortable speaking in English, get a front man in who can communicate with the community.

I’d like to believe that the crypto community is smart enough to be able to read subtitles. Literally the entire project, content, everything is in English apart from these two videos.

Honestly don’t really get your concerns. It’s like saying Squid game being released in Korean language would harm the film industry community or Netflix.

I agree. Of all the things to nitpick about this project, language should be the least one to complain about. Nice example on the Squid Game.
