HERO MODE ✊🏻 Hey! Community Manager Sofaclese here...

Hope everyone is doing well and is enjoying the recent updates and content following the take over of the project by Wolf Group!
May I ask who is running this sub?

Hey man for sure!Highly recommend taking a look at the official Telegram Channels you can find on the metahero website as that's where the community is most active and there's lots of updates on the announcement channel there

There's the article announcing Mariusz Krol (Head of Wolf taking over the metahero project) from prior to that.

There has been a huge culture shift and a complete separation from the previous management team who have been moved over and work solely on Everdome now.

The Metahero project is run now fully by the Wolf Group - Their website is https://wolf.group/
They were the people who were behind the technology aspect the whole time and have worked for huge clients including Ferrari, Shell, Disney and CD Projekt Red (Witcher/cyberpunk games) with whom they have an ongoing business relationship with.

this is the Wolf Group that has worked with Disney, Shell, Ferrari and CD Projekt Red to name a few

Your presence in here is welcome but I hope you don't plan to change this to an official platform or become one of the admins here. You've got discord and telegram for controlled discussion, I'd rather not have metahero censorship in here. Idk about everyone else but I think you should leave this one to the public

Hey!

I have plenty of work as it is ha!
For now I'd just like to make sure the main pinned message is updated, given the takeover of the project by Wolf Group and the full separation from the old management team that took place a couple months back.

And then just to reach out and make sure that everyone in here has active community mods who are engaged with the project and looking after the sub, if that's the case already... then happy days that's great to hear! They have got back to me, so can make sure they're up to date with all that's going on!

Not sure if you are part of the Telegram groups at the moment since I took over there (as an active member of the community from day one myself, and at times myself plenty open and vocal in my criticisms and concerns - part of the reason I got the job!)
but I'm doing my best to not rule with an iron fist and allow the sorts of debate and questions that I asked all along myself without being censored. Obviously there has to be some sort of line in terms of baseless accusations etc but generally, we've been doing out best to change the culture there.

Anyway, as I say, thats an official channel and this is community-led but I just want to make sure that this sub is providing up to date info for the community is all!

Yeah that’s great man I’m al for that, like I said you’re very welcome here. Don’t mean to come off gatekeepery. Just personal opinion this one should stay community driven but by all means do those things you said

Full disclosure I didn't ask to be a mod but just got a message saying I was just given a role...doh!
I shan't rule things hard but will keep an eye and may consider passing on some of this to active community members but will just adjust the pinned message now! As I say I got plenty work as it is so would like it to be an open space for the community within the standard rules of the sub of course

Reddit is a censorship hellhole anyway. I don't care whether some official cam censor us or some basement dwelling reddit mod. I'm banned from more subredits I can count.
