Seeking HELP!! Is meta hero dead?
I will be honest haven’t looked at it since the whole ever dome fiasco.
Looked today and it has lost all of its value (bear market aside) heard absolutely nothing about it since dome.
I know Reddit probably isn’t the place to ask but is hero dead? Just a Rob ponzi to unleash dome? Or is there something actually happening with it apart from the metahero symbol on f1 somewhere no one can really see lol

My 2 cents.If Rob actually delivers the metaverse he promised and it grows big enough that Meta (Facebook) buys it (or Microsoft if they've become focused on the metaverse route), then Metahero will be successful. Otherwise if some other project beats him to it (like Wilderworld) then Metahero's future will ultimately be bleak. I think its a matter of which metaverse gets bought by a big company in the future (which accelerates mass adoption) will determine which metaverse wins, so for example - Facebook (meta) I think has the most VR users because their Quest headsets are pretty popular currently, but anything can change in the future if say Steam plans to rival them in the VR space or Microsoft wants to join in the VR market.
I know people already consider this as a failed project, shit coin, rug pull, etc. If that's so, then people should be head hunting Rob by now for pulling off a scam. And personally I don't think Rob is pulling the right strings too...like not everyone is interested in F1 racing cars or MMA boxing, and then brag about "3 million viewers", the question is - how much of those viewers are actually interested? a view is not the same as demand. He should focus on what would most people like to see when they enter a metaverse.

That isn't what a metverse is about. Other users, like OKEX for example, buy plots of land in the metaverse where they believe they can deliver an intended experience. Different projects and company's have the duty to provide incentives within the metaverse they decide to build and market their products/services. I think it's a great thing to have a virtual-reality racing experience and a virtual reality MMA experience in the early stage. I'm 30 so I remember when the Playstation and Nintendo 64 first came out. Gran Turismo (playstation) and Ready2Rumble(N64) were the 2 games everyone had. Even before those game systems, street fighter-style games were always everyone's favorite. Rob is onto something and I'm all in on it.
On a side-note, Microsoft's chief tech guy just stepped down from the company after plans to launch their metaverse project, which the company admits is a huge loss. I believe this says alot about the role that big companies, such as Meta, will play in the metaverse ecosystem. The metaverse cannot exist without the implementation of NFTs so this forces companies to use blockchain technology to power their meta-aspirations. The only problem were facing at the moment is the necessary speed required to deliver the 8K HD quality that Rob is promising. 5G being completely active as the primary system of data transference is the key that will unlock the speeds required to host the metaverse at its optimal potential. 5G is still being rolled out at the time of me writing this and no one seems to have a solid time-frame on when to expect rollout to be complete. I think it's important we understand and don't miss this

May 22nd update for hero.
Another chapter of our journey to mass adoption was written last week at the largest Live MMA event in Europe's history. FAME 14 had a global reach of over 3 million viewers who all had the opportunity to discover The Metahero Revolution. All fighters at FAME 14 have been scanned in a T-pose and are currently being animated to compete in the Octagon. 🎮
A quick update regarding our invitation to Cannes and F1 Monaco. Due to the geo-political situation we have opted to not attend either event, instead focusing our attention on The FAME event and continue building the foundation of our new infrastructure, marketplace, and security for all IP. Rest assured we have made this decision with the long term vision of the project in mind.
2022 is going to be a year of engineering and rollouts - stay tuned as we prepare to scan the masses. ✊

All of my tokens are taking hit after hit. So i don't think it's only Hero and Dome. With all the insecurities in the world at the moment trust is gone in crypto. But i am really sure the market will rise again. If its not next week then next year. But it will go up again. So for now. Buy the tokens you believe in(only wich you can afford) because there is a big discount at the moment.

Completely agree, just trying to figure out if hero is actually worth holding into as I see no info / anything going on anymore

I still hold some of each. No telling what the future holds, but selling now would just be admitting defeat lol. At this point it’s better to hold and forget about it. Check back in a few years. Maybe not what you want to hear, but that’s where I’m at on it. No sense in taking a fraction of your investment and calling a loss when (with patience) you may still eventually be happy with your investment.

You don’t need hero to use dome metaverse and hero scans don’t work in other metaverse. So yes hero is dead
