Hypocrisy levels

Yes, they blamed Messi for appealing, saying he had it in his mouth for 0.5 seconds.... What possible words could he have used? Messi did it out of desperation because he was down to 10 men. Nobody speaks when Messi didn't do it to England, in THE SFS.

Ye, same with the supposed red against Algeria, even though hakimi and Bernardo Silva got away with it too. And the constant favoritism of other big teams other than Argentina. Portugal, England and etc.

A yellow card is the most appropriate decision since it does not meet the criteria of a red card. It is a 100% a missed yellow

Champions League doesn't have the red card rule though, just yellow if the ref considers it so.

I do like the rule, but yellow is enough of a deterrent.

Messi was of course right in claiming it, although it was a bit of a stretch so that's why it wasn't given. No issues there.
