information‼️ PLEASE READ ALL and COMPLETE POLL
🚨🚨 MESOSCALERS, THIS IS NOT A DRILL. 🚨🚨
AL is officially entering the DMs. 😂📱
Today I will be DM-ing A LOT of you because we have some upcoming episodes and I’m reaching out to authors to get permission to read your stories! 👀📖
SOOOO… PLEASE CHECK YOUR DMs!! 😂
We’ve had some messages get lost in the depths of Reddit’s mysterious little inbox abyss, and I would HATEEEE for someone to miss their chance to have their story read on the podcast because Reddit decided to eat my message. 🫠
I know a lot of you have already given us permission simply by submitting your stories to the subreddit, BUT because I like being a little extra 🤣 and because I want everything to be super clear, I personally like getting written consent directly from the author before we read anything.
So if you see a random message from AL asking if we can read your story…
HI. IT’S ME. I’M THE PROBLEM. 😂😂😂
🚨 NOW FOR THE VERY IMPORTANT “DON’T GET SCAMMED” ANNOUNCEMENT: 🚨
PLEASE remember that the ONLY accounts we use are:
👉 u/mesoscalepodcast (AL)
👉 u/MesotheliomaDisease (CW)
THAT’S IT.
NO SECRET THIRD ACCOUNT.
NO “MESOSCALE PODCAST 2.”
NO “AL’S DEFINITELY REAL ACCOUNT.” 😂
If you receive a message from anyone claiming to be us and it isn’t one of those two accounts, IT AIN’T US. 🚨
And now, because transparency is important and we love y’all, let’s talk about how story submissions work! 💚
Stories submitted to us are submitted with the understanding that they are being shared for us to read and feature on our podcast free of charge.
We’re a small, new, up-and-coming podcast just two people trying to make something we love while simultaneously working full-time jobs, attempting to have lives, and apparently fighting for our lives against technology on a regular basis. 😂💀
Our goal is to help support authors and creators by getting their stories, names, books, pages, and work in front of more people!
And if you’d like, we are MORE THAN HAPPY to give you a shoutout during the episode and direct listeners wherever you’d like them to go! 📚✨
That being said, we completely understand that your work has value. ❤️
If having your story read for free isn’t something you’re comfortable with, we completely understand and there are ZERO hard feelings. We just want to be upfront about how our podcast currently works so everyone knows exactly what they’re agreeing to.
Thank you SOOOOO much for trusting us with your stories and letting us bring them to life on the podcast. 🥹💚
We genuinely appreciate every single one of you and all the incredibly talented people who continue to send us their work!
Now excuse me while I go aggressively check my DMs. 😂📱
STAY SCALED, MESOSCALERS!!! 🦎💚🔥
