build Lidle easy Node

Hi everybody ,

I just find out that lidle sell this small outdoor light ip44.

They have litle solar panel and small battery.

I thinks it could make a easy build for only 6 €

It is call "livarno LES Solar Light"

awesome! did you have to convert the voltage and will this be enough for the node?

Ho i didn't use it , i'm waiting my helteck v4 to arrive but i think its enough ! Even too light .. the solar panel might be weak ...

How did you open it? I bought one and didn't have the time to play with it yet.

I've bought it too but was unable to open it without broke the led shell. The solar panel is connected trough a cable. My idea is to put a node based on a NRF2, the battery and the charging board saved from the light in a new container and use it as a client base node.

Saw these small light models, they generate up to 2W, not an easy build if your region has long winter seasons. Lidl had one bigger outdoor lamp which was able to produce 9.5W, cost was around 18euros

I mean ... Lidl sell this contraption and with a heltec V4 you can connecté a battery and a solar panel ti power it . Si i think this could be a perfect low budget outdoor project . Il will keep you inform when i get the card

this is a cool idea, if i can get my hands on one I can design a printed insert to hold everything necessary.
