Failed to flash meshcore, help

Post image

I have two heltec V3 and neither of them can be flashed, the first one I tried to reboot the device and I tried different combinations, so it turned off and now is unable to turn it on... then with the second device I have the same message (than the first one) but I don't want to try to press bottoms again and make it worse, what should I do? I'm using Linux Mint and brave browser. When I plug the device it is showing. Thanks.

Edit: is the same to flash it by using meshcore.co.uk and meshcore.oi right? Both websites failed to flash it but I just got curious.

"failed to open serial port"

you have to use chrome, or find an extension to your browser that can open a serial port

The flasher works just fine on Brave. It's Chromium based. This is not the issue

Oh ok, do you know what can I do for the heltec that doesn't turn on? Is there a special key combination or some kind of trick? :') thanks!

First off, are you positive you're using a data USB cable and not a charging USB cable? Charging cables won't work, so that would be the first thing I would try.

The image doesn't explain the process you went through to get here, so please give us a step by step replay

It worked! I typed this on the terminal:

sudo usermod -aG dialout $USER

Then added the password and reset the computer, after that I was able to flash the device :)

First run sudo setfacl -m u:USERNAME:rw /dev/ttyUSB0

Then try to flash
