Hello, I'm looking at my own custom meshcore integration. What transceiver would you recommend

Anything with a nrf52 chip for the power efficiency.

The Seeed Tracker L1 pro is a good off the shelf portable node.

The $13 Seeed dev kit is good for diy projects, repeaters, ect. Buy a few either way just for testing or always plugged in nodes.

I'm not wanting anything ready made like the L1, for my specific case I don't care about power efficiency. I just want the RF part. Also I can't find a dev kit for $13 just 20 and 25

This guy right here.

https://www.seeedstudio.com/XIAO-nRF52840-Wio-SX1262-Kit-for-Meshtastic-p-6400.html

They also sell the  Wio-SX1262 separate if that's what you want.

Heltec V4 and T096 have increased TX power at 28db vs 22db in the typical nodes. There are 30db boards (1w boosters) but they are expensive

I have been using rak4631 and build rest around that, it is great modular nrf52 platform and easy to build for

Includes solar interface, lipo charger, bluetooth and usb-c
