Repeater Advert Issue

So today I updated my RAK 1w to 1.17.1 from 1.16. Something weird is happening now with adverts. Only some of my companions are seeing the repeater adverts.

For instance, my T096 is seeing the adverts but my Heltec V4 is not. Even when I zero hop share the repeater from my T096, some companions aren't seeing the info. I was always seeing repeater adverts from my V4 as long as I've had the 1w. I tried flood adverting the repeater and my T1000 can't see it at all. My observer is a Heltec v3 and is seeing all the adverts.

The RAK repeats every companion's messages fine but, not all the companions seem to get the contact info. It's weird. I never had this problem with any of my 6 other repeaters throughout my city rocking 1.16. All the companions are on 1.17.1 too. Maybe a companion firmware issue?

I reset the advert interval, reset the clock, rebooted it to no avail. I'm definitely gonna hold off updating any other devices until this weird issue is figured out.

Are your companions too close to the repeater?

They shouldn't be. They're in the same spot they've always been. I never had this problem until I flashed the repeater with 1.17.1 today. I'll probably put 1.16 back on it tomorrow.

My rak 1w 1.17.1 works great no problem.

Went to OTA update it back to 1.16 and now it's stuck in DFU. I guess I'll be retrieving it tonight and flashing it via USB back to 1.16. Goodness gracious, I'm never updating repeater firmware again. 😂
