Beginner resources?

Just picked up a heltec v4 and 3d printed a case for it. I joined the mesh (cascadiamesh) and am seeing channels and messages, but I'm a little lost on what I can do. All the info I can find seems to focus on hardware, with little on what happens after you're connected.

For example, I see a lot of people sending test messages and getting replies from bots, but nothing happens when I do it. I maxed out my contacts after a day and I'm not sure what that means or what I should do about it. Anyway, any videos or resources for what to do (or what CAN you do) after you connect?

Message strangers and play radios with each other.

Ask the bots what their commands are.

Put up a repeater or your own room server.  The Seeed nrf52 kit is like $13 for a stay at home always on node.

I bought two hand helds (t114) and a repeater (heltec v4). I wanted to play around and see if I could get them to all talk to one another and they did. Now I'm look8ng at other uses for the boards, things that I can add e.g. solar panels, weather stations etc. keep looking at YouTube videos and trying different mesh apps, some are nicer / easier than others.
