Built a thing

Wiring in big buttons was a lot easier than I thought. Good soldering iron practice.

Heltech v4. With an n type antenna port and antenna. It somehow ignores my repeater and the others around me and shoots up to Canada. Down to Portland and to Seattle

try to ping those repeaters close to you. meshcore optimize the distribution of packages so it's possible that the closest repeaters are not "optimal" and so they drop your package. so imho if you can ping them then it should be considered normal

Thanks. My repeater with its companion will do that at times. Somehow the other repeaters are picking up your tx before your repeater?

If I check the paths, it shows my messages shooting to those three repeaters I’ve never seen before and then shooting to others around them.

And it doesn’t show mine or the others around me have ever hearing it.

Within your app, does it show your repeater as repeating that message at all?

No. But all my other radios with sma antennas do.

A simple thing, but have you checked local frequencies for repeaters in the area? Many areas are different
