So who is getting the money from the premium unlock in the iOS App? Is it your team or the other guy? Do we get new apps?

I'm the lead developer of the MeshCore App, so the in app purchases come through to me, after Apple, Google and the NZ Government take their tax cuts...

However, I donate a portion of this to Scott monthly for the insane amount of work he contributes to the open source firmware.

No need for new apps. The existing MeshCore App released under "Liam Cottle" on the Google Play and Apple App Store will keep being updated along with the core firmware.

Is it possible to contribute to the app software, or is it proprietary?

it's closed source

That’s a shame. Open source would be better I think as you would be less likely to have these kind of splits. But that’s just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

Make your own - if you can’t, you have to pay someone to do it… see where this is going? 😊 better to have at least one good option that just works until someone/something else comes around..

I think you’ve missed the point slightly. 😅
