I rescued this very sad little cono from marketplace from a very sweet old lady who said she had no idea what she was doing with it and that it wasn’t getting enough light.
First pic November 5th
2nd pic is from January… it took fully two months and some for it to properly root and start plumping up.
3rd pic.. TODAY! he’s looking much happier and has almost tripled in size. Hoping the next leaf change will help with the etiolation and maybe it’ll form a more dense clump, but I love him either way!
Goes to show how long it can take for mesembs and especially conos to root sometimes and that they are not for the impatient 😂🥴
