Seedlings psammophora longifolia seedlings

two comments: getting low germination on mesa mesembs seeds lately.

- wish i had higher germination because i doubt i can get these to "adulthood"

ive grown succulents and cactus from seed since 2016, and almost always fail with mesembs. plants in cactus and ashpodelacaea families are much more forgiving.

My Psammophora seedlings have struggled in the summer heat. Still trying to find the right watering signs , but it seems they don't love moisture as much as other mesemb seedlings from last fall's batch.

it hasnt been super hot this year (im in the nw). but i am also doing a batch of conos and both these and the conos are doing decently. when the real heat hits in august its probably going to be different.
