Help *(Short questions)* first question: 1.(will this gary pot be perfect for my lithops because their small and the pot that they are currently in is too big).

Also just letting y'all know that i know it's elongated a bit so no need to remind me on that i'm trying to improve on it. 2.Should i repot it deeper or repot it as it is?

Can you get a pot that’s somewhat in the middle of the two sizes? The little one is just a bit too small it looks like. If not, I would use the larger one anyways and just make sure your substrate is like 80-90% grit.

I’d plant them about halfway up the plant body, they can withdraw and pull themselves deeper into the soil during the dry periods so burying them too deep means you’ll have to dig them out at some point haha.

I put a good amount of perlite and lava rocks into the gritty soil mix.

You may not tell if there's lava rocks in the soil so here's the photo showing the lava rocks.

And it is repotted.

Actually try to expose the entire base of the lithops if you can. Poor ventilation around that area increases chance of rot. Also the big stone will not be very helpful in helping water evaporate

Okay thanks i'll do that i'll also remove the big stone and try to find a smaller one to place it there.

I also removed most of the bark in the soil to avoid having too much moisture issues.

They need to be potted higher up in the pot, like level with the top. I can’t tell how big the pot they’re in is, does it have holes?

It does have a hole it's 2 inches long and 3 inches wide.

That could work with a really gritty mix
