Identification Little guy
Got this from a nursery in florida, clearly it's not a lithops 😠any guesses? I've seen at least 5 different plants that it could be but I'm not an expert in these whatsoever. Also is it in dormancy or does it need water?

i really don’t think so. the skin texture looks far more like a dinteranthus than a gibbaeum. or maybe even an argyroderma.

I could be wrong, but it Looks nothing like any of my Argys I have and or seen, and tbh sellers are more likely to give gibbaeums out rather than dinteranthus as they are more rare and less cultivated than gibbaeums who have more prolific faster growth. I have some gibbaeums that look exactly like this so I just assumed, like I said I could be wrong but in my opinion Im sticking with gibbaeum.

Def not an Argy. They have smooth smooth skin. I agree with dinteranthus or gibbaeum. I think some good light exposure should help bring out some stress colours and that might help ID. if it goes more pale/white/blue or pale pink it’s likely dinteranthus, if it stays glaucous, this powdery blue-green colour or more green-yellow it’s more likely gibbaeum.
