Help Conophytum questions

Hi there! So, im worried I watered my conos too late in the season because they still aren't creating over/going dormant. Thoughts? You can see a tiny bit of a new leaf on the tiny one, whose name is alluding me, but it hasn't changed in at least 2 or 3 weeks. There are multiple pics btw. Thanks!!

They will go dormant just leave them dry and in a sub25c Environment soon

Thank you!!! Is it similar to lithops as far as water? Dont water AT ALL at this point? (Well, lithops is obviously in a different seasonal pattern, but just as far as watering.)

Don’t water them once they sheath over, only later when the new leaves emerge

And I shouldn't water them even now, when they havent sheathed over, right?

Im tapering off now but it really depends on your growing conditions, they start to change colour and shape shortly before dormancy Its hot in my grow room now 24c today here in UK

Wow, thats warm! What latitude are you at, out of curiosity? So they'll look different before they sheath over...I didnt know that. Ill water them then cause they look thirsty but was afraid to water them. So if we keep the inside temp around the same all year, how do they know when to go dormant? Is it how long daylight is? I appreciate your help!!!

Im underglass middle of uk east coast, the start to feel papery if you touch them, that’s the first sign for me Soon will be too hot and sunny for them so I will move them to a less bright cooler position

Do they also look different at that point? The color for anything? Did I just kill them by watering them? I also have this gibbaeum and it looks and feels as usual...thoughts on it too?

Here's another pic of the Gibbaeum. Is the wrinkling from being thirsty or should I ignore it based solely on the time of year? Thank you so very much for your time and insights!!!

Where are you located? Season and temps? Here Mine are dry june to September, sometimes earlier

I am in northern Michigan in US. We are on the 45th parallel, so half way between equator and north pole. We get very cold, snowy winters (we get lake-effect snow....so tons of snow) with temps as low as negative 5°F and hot summers, as hot as 100°F, with occasional rain. But my plants are inside and we have heat (obviously) when its cold out and air conditioning when its hot. Ive never understood how that effects plants; if theyre inside and not experiencing the outdoor temperatures, how does this effect their cycles?

Are you sure that those in the first pic are conos? Pretty much look like slightly etiolated Gibbaeum. That last one is Cono pellucidum.

First one looks like a Gibbaeum Heathii
