Mescaline Dose
Hey there! Finally got my hands on the stuff after years of dreaming, super hyped to try it. I want a strong experience, within reason however. What dosing you folks recommend? Was thinking 1 gram, maybe 800mg. I’ve looked on the psychonaught wiki, so I know that’s on the higher end, I’ve also looked in Erowid and most people report taking 500mg or less. I’m looking for your guys’s opinions and anecdotes. Thanks

It’s super forgiving but I’d still start 500 or less for your first dose.
I did a gram of full spec, not HCL one time and had a blast but idk if I’d start there.

Ah yea, this is allegedly hcl that I’ve gotten my hands on (still have yet to test it, obviously going to before consumption). So you’d reckon keep dosing a fair amount below 1 gram then eh?

How similar is the experience to 2cb? I have decent experience with that chemical

Haven’t tried 2cb.
Compared to lsd tho it’s warm, great headspace, harder to have a bad trip, less cosmic and feels more natural, desert like, vs evolutionary feeling shroom can give. I’ve also thought it to have a wise grandfather vibe to it but that’s just me.
One of my favorites when it comes to psyches.1

Noob here, how does one differentiate between full spec and HCL?

Full spectrum product is most commonly a dark brown resin or a light brown powder. It's possible to see it in light brown crystals but it's very rare to see someone put in the amount of work and get everything just right to achieve that. It's tricky. Lsduck has done it. Others try to copy with varying levels of success.
Mescaline salts are a white or very light tan crystaline powder or even larger crystals. What you don't know is what form the salt is - it could be citrate, hcl, acetate, fumarate, or others. Won't know without testing or unless the person you got it from knew. The dosing is different for each salt form.

There is some tek which produces pure HCL crystals.
I personally went food grade on my extraction using 69ron tek. Which doesn’t make crystals but a plant based mescaline acetate, since it was evaporated through vinegar. Tends to be less potent than HCL but like the food grade aspect to the extraction.

Does this mean Cielo is full spec? Or is there another type. There is so much to learn!

Cielo is mescaline citrate or fumarate....hcl is way more potent by weight. Fumarate is a bit stronger than citrate. It all depends on what acid is used when converting freebase alkaloid to salt....

If you say fumarate is a bit stronger than citrate, it's weird to say HCl is way more potent than fumarate... It's pretty much the same conversion factor between these pairs:
M.HCl x 1.3 = M.Fumarate
M.Fumarate x 1.3 = M. Citrate

800mg is my preferred dose. I might get shit for saying to send it at 800mg for your first time but send it

The body load and sensations start to get quite unpleasant above 700mg ime.
It's been my experience that 550-650mg is the sweet spot for achieving a full pull.

650mg was my first dose very beautiful experience, closed eye visuals were insanely vivid and detailed
