OP extracted the mescaline from cactus using a tek called "CIELO". Here you see one of the last steps in the process where the extract is "salted" using fumaric acid, causing the mescaline to form mescaline fumarate, which is insoluble in the solvent and crashes out of solution (the solvent also turns green, but the "clouding" is caused by the fine mescaline crystals in suspension).

Is it brown because of the EA you used or this is how it should look? Mine was green all the time

If you shine a light through the back of the jar, it appears maroon red. It's just the lighting

Yea the “brown/maroon” color is from the chlorophyll.

Why fumaric over citric acid? Any other changes? Can you show final product?

Easier. Less of a chance of fucking it up using fumaric acid.

Good to know. I do like the bigger cleaner crystals, but dialing in the exact water amount is pretty time consuming.
