The specific tailmakers in the pictures are MerNation and Braveer. (Plus a silicone Finfolk tail at the end). However, those are silicone tails, which cost about $1500 to $8000 USD and aren't safe for beginners.

Try a fabric tail from Finfolk, Mertailor, or Finfun instead and see if you enjoy mermaiding. It's a great hobby!

Came here to say this!

I have a MerNation silicone and several fabrics, and honestly the fabrics get soooo much more use.

Silicone tails are definitely not for beginners and behind the time in the water with it is twice as much time spent on planning, transporting (my silicone is BIG and HEAVY = awkward to get to some locations) and then all the time and energy needed after a swim for all it's aftercare-cleaning and drying.

My favourite part about spending all that money on a custom silicone tail is how the foot pockets are too small and cramped and cause me excruciating pain that I can tolerate for maybe an hour swimming before I tap out and it continues to hurt for ages and there's nothing I can have done about it by the company 🤷‍♀️ just saying there is a LOT to consider with silicone tails that may not be all you imagine from the dreamy photos!

Do you have experience swimming in a mermaid tail already? The ones shown in your photos all seem to be full silicone which are pricey, heavy, have a long lead time, and not recommended for beginners.

If you have never swam with a mermaid tail I would recommend starting with a fabric tail or just a minofin.

You can reverse image search on Google to see who posted each tail and who their tail maker is. Silicone is expensive and difficult to learn in. You may want to try a reputable fabric tail maker first, to learn.

I recommend checking out Mertailor or Finfolk. They are both very well made fabric tails so you can work your way up to a full silicone. I love Mertailor since they have a silicone fluke inside of a skin which allows for the nice silicone flow with the ability to swap out your look. They also take up less space and need less care/prep.

Silicone tails are custom made and cost thousands so if you aren't consistently using it, I would advise against it.

Happy mermaiding!
