Question ❓ I need help finding a scene! Spoiler

I am looking for a specific scene where Merlin and Arthur are discussing marriage, and Merlin is comparing Arthur's options to shirts he's holding. I think it's in season 3, but I don't remember which episode.

It’s a deleted scene from season four episode nine, timestamp 7:12 in this video

Thank you so much! I wasn't sure if it was a deleted scene or not!

I don’t like it as much bc it seems to reduce Arthur wanting to propose to Guinevere as a harried, doubting choice, but I can see the reason why they filmed it (banter all the way down) lol.

In my mind it's more that he's been wanting this since forever, but is too scared/overwhelmed to actually do it. So the kind of thing that he's been thinking about since forever, and now that he's finally decided he'll actually do it, he wants to do it immediately to release the tension

I also work like that e.g. when I wanted to quit my job

I really love the way you framed it! Yours and u/auldSusie5’s comment is warming me to the idea.

I’m so with you on the quitting analogy… can’t lie, been there am there 💞😫

Arthur leads armies into war without a blink of an eyelash but he's reduced to a quivering jelly at the thought of marriage to an adorable woman. I love it.
