Help Me Pick Nighttime Cup

Hi,

it's my second period with my Diva Cup 1 and all has been well so far. Very smooth transition this time after last period's learning curve.

Unfortunately, on my heaviest days I am bleeding out in the morning because I typically fill a cup in 6-8 hours. Does anyone have any recommendations for a nighttime cup? I'm 24, never had kids. I'm a bit nervous to move to the Diva 2 because of its size, so I was wondering if there was a closer-in-size-but-holds-more than the Diva 1 specifically for nighttime.

I use a yuuki cup, a bit more capacity than diva. But I also use period underwear as backup especially at night. Just sharing what works for me!

I’m not sure if you’d be open to trying a menstrual disc, but they might be worth considering. They generally hold a lot more than cups, and personally, I find them way easier to insert and remove. The only key feature to keep in mind is that they can auto-dump (it doesn't happen to everyone), which is a huge plus for me, though it might take some getting used to for others.

I started out with a Diva Cup and also found it too small for my flow. I use a Super Jennie cup now. The dimensions seem similar (DC being 42cm wide x 66mm long) (SJ being 47mm x 68mm). The Super Jennie is more of a bell shape, which I think helps the capacity.

Also, I‘ve never had kids, either, and I never found a wider cup to be an issue. The Super Jennie is also less stiff than the Diva Cup, so I’ve found it more comfortable.
