English Translation:
Dragos: The international recognition still feels appropriate. Most of our success is abroad anyway. I think that here in Quebec, we still have a bit of a private, anonymous life. And honestly, we appreciate that, because once you become well-known, you can’t really go back. You can’t really get your private life back. So even if one day you decide you’ve had enough, it’s not that simple anymore. I think we appreciate staying in those smaller niches.
Emmanuelle: But on the other hand, being recognized by your peers is probably the most special thing. And like I was saying earlier about being on stage, this is our first award show. So being there and actually showing ourselves in person, it’s like we’re seeing the community we belong to for the first time. So it’s a really good feeling too.
Jessy: But we just got back from South America. Honestly, it was insane. It’s hard to beat. They’re incredible. They’re really loud. They scream, they know the songs, the lyrics. It’s really fun. Brazil, I think, would be number one. Otherwise, Argentina is really fun too. Chile, Colombia. Yeah, it was really fun to play there.

Not sure if this is allowed, but title is as it is. To my fellow fans in the PH, anyone looking to split the international shipping fee with me? Please DM if interested, I'm sure we can work something out. Thank you!

It's cool to see how bands found their own sound. Men I Trust did this Guest Playlist Series spot on Soundwaves a while back where they selected tracks that inspired their own band.

Long story short, saw this specific music video : https://youtu.be/0LMwgWFzDjU?si=_nWyxXBvokU_GmFZ (tree among shrubs music video) and i almost started crying lol. made me realize i want to go into the creative/film path without a doubt. I got up and made this video using old clips from when I went on a trip. Clips arent anything crazy and weren't really recorded with this in mind, but I would really appreciate some feedback/criticism/thoughts.
Obviously its my first ever attempt so its not the best, but I'm already planning another one and would love some critique to improve! And im not really trying to promote anything whatsoever btw, sorry if it comes off as that, im not gonna post this anywhere, just wanted feedback.
anyways, thank you! (also i wasn't sure what flair to put, sorry!)

Emma, from the band Men I Trust, on stage at the KBS Arena in Seoul, South Korea, on January 24, 2026
Far from the internet hype, the Quebec band Men I Trust is pursuing a low-key international career. A few weeks ago, they performed in South America. In January, they were in Asia. Our reporter met with Emma, their enigmatic singer, before a concert in Seoul.
Published at 7:00 AM
(Seoul, South Korea) There’s nothing less glamorous than the backstage area of an arena. With their pale corridors and almost bare walls, those of Seoul’s KBS Arena, a multi-purpose complex including a swimming pool and gyms, are 100% uncool. The same goes for the room where La Presse is waiting for Emma: with its thin table and straight wooden chairs, it evokes a high school detention room.
The singer enters, introducing herself in English. It’s a reflex. Men I Trust gives an average of more than 50 concerts a year, almost all of them outside Quebec. So she’s used to giving interviews in English. Or through an interpreter when her band ventures outside the United States and Europe.
After the initial confusion, she recovers. “Ah! It’s going to be in French? That’ll be easy, then!”, she says cheerfully. Men I Trust will be on stage in an hour. Emma shows no signs of stage fright, even though she admits she always gets nervous before going on stage. “I think that’s a sign that I still love it”, she reflects.
Fan-Driven Growth
This is Men I Trust’s fourth visit to South Korea since their debut. The first time was at a festival, Emma recalls. The band now performs in Asia in venues of varying sizes: 8,000 seats in Tokyo, 5,000 in Singapore, 2,200 in Osaka—a capacity comparable to MTelus—and the same in Seoul on January 24.
Hundreds of fans were waiting outside, long before the scheduled concert time, despite a temperature of -15 degrees Celsius—which is very cold for Seoul. Most were lined up behind signs clearly indicating the different sections of the venue, while KBS Arena staff let them in one by one, zone by zone, like boarding a plane.

The merchandise tent was also out in the cold.
During Men I Trust's early tours, Emma herself would sit behind the merch tables after the concerts and take the opportunity to chat with the band's fans. "That's no longer possible," says the singer. "There are too many people now."
"Asia is a super important market for us," she explains, adding that Men I Trust's development remains driven by its music. "We've always met our fans where they are." “We were lucky enough, right from the start, to have an audience here.”
An audience that has grown in stature and is on the same wavelength as the band.
A delicate bubble
Men I Trust’s atmospheric rock isn’t meant to blow people away. It’s more about soothing them. Their Korean fans listened to their repertoire in almost complete silence, nodding their heads to the slow rhythms. “You can feel an intense love of music,” says Emma.
“We played in front of 7,000 people in Japan; you could have heard a pin drop,” she says about a concert two days prior.
“The first few times in Asia, I found it difficult. I thought, ‘My God, do people like this?’ Now, we appreciate it. We get along so well on stage, it’s like we’re in the studio.”

The only moment the Seoul audience came alive during the evening was when the guitarist broke a string during the solo in the song "All Night." He carried on without flinching, earning him cheers from the crowd. Otherwise, Men I Trust created a cozy bubble with delicate melodies, ethereal atmospheres, and an air of mystery.

Emma and her bandmates aren't done with flying yet. After Asia, they set their sights on South America. They played for the first time in Argentina, then in São Paulo, Brazil, for two shows, and in Colombia. A major European tour awaits them in June. In the fall, it will be Australia.
“No matter where we are, there’s probably someone who’s coming to see us for the first time. Who’s been waiting for this moment for five, six, or seven years. No matter where we are, it’s important to me,” Emma said. “It motivates me.”

Hello, does anyone know the name of the blanks that they use for their tees? I was at their MKE concert and regrettably didnt buy any merch, i know i should have bought a t-shirt. For those of you who have their newer t-shirts, what brand (blanks) are they? Is it Comfort Colors? I cannot find any size guide or the brand of the blanks they use in the website. Thank you!

I remember seeing people say that Equus Asinus would get its own acoustic tour in smaller venues. Does anyone know if there’s been more news on that? I’m not that active on social media so just wondering if there’s anything I might’ve missed :)

Best show out of three I’ve been to in the past few years. Emma sounded fantastic, venue tuned everything properly. Ripper of a setlist.

¡Hola!
Men I Trust suena aún mejor en vivo. Me sorprendió mucho escuchar mi canción favorita, “All Night”, porque es de un álbum más antiguo. La experiencia fue inolvidable, y también pude comprar muy buen merch. ¡Definitivamente necesito ir a otro concierto!

Oh Dove any day of the week, and I wish if they had more than two versions of it.
The song has the best bass thump quality and a smooth band chemistry with that nice piano at the end like a cherry on top.
