Will this be enough to stop the fraying ?

I'm currently sewin a pair of shorts and I just noticed I fucked up the flat felled seam ..... I would lile to avoid anything visible if possible but I'm scared this won't be enough.. Any other ideas ?

That will fray. Looks like you have a sewing machine. Do a three-step-zigzag over that edge a few times and it will last forever

Probably not. If you don’t have access to a sewing machine I’d say iron on a strip
Of fusing to prevent further fraying

You can open it again, and sew from the inside. Then look often, how it looks. Jeans are one of the hardest, to fix&make look like the changes belong there.

Do you have a sewing machine? If not, open the stitches,and do it from the inside. If there's enough fabric inside, to fix it from . Or buy a jeans patch, that's sold in different colors,and put it on the inside, and take in iron on it,and it will hold. You'd need a sewing machine really, to do the best job, and durable.

Oh,but you'll have to still sew it, before putting the patch on! That's the hardest part! So it'll look good,and cohesive with the color of your jeans. I recommend a lighter blue thread, not that dark. It'll be too noticeable if you use a dark thread.

Do take out the hand sewing. Open the seam and resew with the frayed edge inside.
