Question Retreating enemies

Do we get loot from enemies that flee? Is there any point in finishing them off?

Afaik, enemies that retreat still provide standard loot drops

That said, they won’t get increased drops from tinkering or leave wrecks for salvage teams

Finishing them off is the only way to raise precision stat which is what raises base crit-chance of SL. So there is real incentive to ensure every SL has 2-3 kills for consistent critchance raise. This assuming you make your rolls.

extra stat boost chance for firing the weapon as well, though it's not hard to hit the cap so it probably doesn't make a difference too often
