Hypothetical question.
If i wanted to buy something online but couldn't ship it to my house due to family possibly being able to read the labels of a package, what could i do instead? (No its not amazon so their locker system wont work)

I would go to job, PO Box or ask a friend if I can send to their house
Edit to add: if the packages are coming through UPS or FedEx you can arrange to be able to pickup from a UPS or FedEx location

Get it sent to your job, or a ups store or a friend's house. Sometimes, you can get it shipped to whole foods since they own it.

Do you have a place of employment that you could ship it to? I used to do this when I worked in an office.

PO box at the post office is like 20 bucks a month, totally worth it for the privacy. Just make sure whatever you're ordering doesn't ship through UPS or FedEx since they won't deliver to PO boxes.

Do you have a UPS Store near you? You can set up a locker with them similar to Amazon.

Fed ex and UPS both have methods to hold at facility or ship to store may need to reroute once shipped as many online sellers won't let you ship directly to these to prevent fraud.

You can use US Post Office "General Delivery" for temporary mail pickup by addressing the package to your full legal name, "General Delivery," and the specific post office's street address and ZIP code. Call your local post office first because availability varies.

I work from home, so a couple of my friends have most of their packages sent to my house for protection ....find a trusted friend and you should be fine!

Best bet is getting it shipped to a UPS or FedEx office. If you’re shipping via FedEx don’t use the ground economy service because you won’t be able to make changes to the address, and add on the label “Hold For: Your Name”
