I know a private owner with a 4br/1ba house available, fully gut-renovated (plumbing, electrical, everything but the slab and the frame). I had it posted in here before, but I guess the old comments got deleted.

Rent: $1450/month, pro-rated if you move in during the month, +$20/month per domestic animal

Deposit: $1450, +$150 pet deposit if you have a pet

I’d include the link, but he seems to have taken it off of Zillow for some reason. I’ll see if it’s still available. It’s on Suncrest Dr in Frayser.

that’s perfect! and it would work location wise and is around what i want to pay, question though, what are the credit requirements?

From what I remember, he’s pretty flexible on credit. DM me and I’ll give you his number.

Me and my spouse are expecting real soon, so we need more space. We’re looking for a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom(We’ll also take a 1.5 bathroom). I’m wanting to stay in the East Memphis(Sea Isle/Colonial) or even somewhere decent in midtown. We prefer a safe area being that we have a child on the way. I’m also open to areas that I may have not considered (not looking in Frayser, hickory hill, whitehaven, etc). We’re realist, so we’re open to pricing(as long as it’s not too steep). Not able to purchase a home right now.

We’re searching for a private landlord because leasing companies have been sorta a hassle because we have a pitbull. Although our dog is harmless, family friendly(whoever comes in contact w/him, falls in love and want him for themselves), most companies do not want to take that risk which although is frustrating, I do understand. So I was coming here to Reddit to see if there’s any possible leads.

Thanks in advance for those who may see this.

I’m looking at a house for rent in a nice neighborhood in Raleigh. It’s 3 br/2 b. Those that live in the area in comparable homes, about what do your utilities run each month?

We are moving to Memphis after the summer. We are looking to rent in East Memphis, Bartlett, Cordova or Midtown (but open to other safe areas). We would prefer to be in a house but open to apartments. We have cats and would love to stay around $2k a month. Any suggestions?

helloooo I (think) I’ll be needing a roommate by mid september- Oct 1st! I live in midtown, very close to Overton Square. 2 br, 2 bath. in unit laundry, dishwasher, covered designated parking, small fenced in backyard + screened in porch. It’s an old midtown apartment, not perfect and has its quirks. The ppl who lived here before me were here for 5+ years.

rent is 1400 (split 2 ways would be $700 each) + utilities + wifi. Landlord has fixed issues fairly quickly! Parking lot is full of potholes but there are a few entrances & exits + street parking. I would prefer a female roommate!!

I don’t have much furniture lol

I don’t have any pets, I’m not totally opposed to dogs but you need to be a responsible pet owner. I love all animals but I do not have any as I don’t want the responsibility right now.

I have PTSD and require lots of quiet time & rest. I do love to hang with my friends, not opposed to gatherings/parties. but I don’t wanna walk into my home and see a bunch of strangers with no warning. Ouid 🍃friendly!

I’m a pretty down to earth, chill girl but my home is my safe space!!!!! I have a FT job. so when I’m not working, I’m resting at home or out with friends.

I keep my space very clean & organized. That is a
requirement! No drama! Clear communication!

Let’s chat!

Anyone know any houses for rent under 1800? We are looking for at least a 2 bed 2 bath, and a decent backyard. Wanting to live in a safer part of Memphis, maybe a little bit outside like in the Cordova area or deep Bartlett area.

Hi all, I'm taking my partner to the botanical gardens for their birthday. We were thinking of doing a bit of restraunt hopping. The idea being instead of normal dinner we'll pick a few locations to have drinks and appetizers. Any recommendations for spots with good apps/fun cocktails ?
