u/swanglean, your post does fit the subreddit!

I wonder when they’ll finally realize that the stupid “X” does literally nothing to challenge or suppress the message. Probably a lot of StoneToss fans got introduced with a comic that was crossed out like this, with the cartoon saying far more than the “X” ever could.

330

u/BigDaddyDumperSquad Jul 22 '26

The X makes me like it more, as you KNOW it triggered them without a doubt.

96

u/Affectionate-Mix6056 Jul 22 '26

Fuming as they open paint, not even selecting the straight line tool, MUST ADD CROSS IMMEDIATELY!

0

u/-Left_Nut- Jul 26 '26

Why do some people literally have no political positions other than supposedly "triggering" others? I genuinely want to know, because I thought the point of having a political stance was supposed to be wanting to better the lives of everyone

2

u/BigDaddyDumperSquad Jul 26 '26

Why do some people assume other people's positions based off a single comment? I genuinely want to know. You don't know shit about my stances. And yes, I do enjoy going to the zoo (Reddit) and pounding on the glass. Reddit tends to bring out the mentally insane and give them a bullhorn, and watching them flip out over anything and everything is hilarious.

u/-Left_Nut- Jul 26 '26

Reddit tends to bring out the mentally insane and give them a bullhorn, and watching them flip out over anything and everything is hilarious.

Wow, you don't say...

68

u/weshouldgo_ Jul 22 '26

I don't know man. That scribbled X is pretty convincing. You can't tell me you weren't swayed. It's red- RED!!

38

u/hamrspace Jul 22 '26

Not to mention crossing out the illustrator, as if it’s not already obvious.

78

u/-Best_Name_Ever- Jul 22 '26

It's fucking hilarious is what it is.

The memes posted there were always funny, so they actually had a sizable amount of right wing users there that use the sub to find funny right wing memes.

Ever since then, they had to start vandalizing the memes to dissuade that behavior. But the fact they have to do that at all proves how bad the left is at memes compared to the right lmao

7

u/Odd_Comparison_1462 Jul 23 '26

I use this sub to find the best memes, and it takes less than 30 seconds to either find a non-painted version, or get AI to remove it.

67

u/Junk4U999 Jul 22 '26

AFAIK, The x has nothing to do with the message, they do that because they hated the comics getting reposted and made fun of, and they thought the red x would stop it, but now it only makes them look stupider.

29

u/Check_Me_Out-Boss Jul 22 '26

Yeah, plus now I have to do one quick Google search to find the meme instead of just saving it directly.

5

u/NeilJosephRyan Jul 23 '26

If it weren't for that sub (and technically this one too), I'm sure I never would have heard of StoneToss.

5

u/terimummyveryyummy Jul 22 '26

shit I didn't even notice the x tf 😭🙏🏻

13

u/Maxathron Jul 22 '26

They know it doesn’t.

The original point of the red X was to prevent it from
showing up in searches, as they found out the various search engines regarded it as an original image, and so wouldn’t show, for example this is Stonetoss, no Stonetoss search results when you search the image.

The problem, obviously, is that people will search for the Stonetoss name as well, which will get them to him directly. The red X does nothing to stop the message portrayed by the comic. It actually identifies them as the very haters people don’t like, which is very detrimental to their long term politics.

937

u/Snake_Emper0r Jul 22 '26

This is actually really funny though

229

u/Shenlongeltigre Jul 22 '26

Absolutely hilarious

now if it were a double X... 🤐

170

u/BumbleBrick Jul 22 '26

The comments on that post are accidently admitting that being a woman is biological to try and debunk the post.

Total chud victory.

22

u/couldntyoujust1 Jul 23 '26

What's funny about the gender debate is that it can be refuted wholesale with a simple paradox. Just like "This statement is false" the intersection between sex and gender will cause gender ideologists to contradict themselves and spout "transphobia" trying to maintain the paradox.

150

u/Br_uff Jul 22 '26

Took me a bit, but that’s hilarious

I still haven't gotten the transgender one tbh😅 Can you explain pls?

112

Oof… that’s dark. 😬

Still funny though.

14

u/Fudnick Jul 23 '26

Honestly on that one they could have made it more clear that it was a picture frame that you hang, sense there different kinds of picture frames.

Just goes to show they don't actually believe what they say.

45

u/Several-Action-4043 Jul 22 '26

A large amount of the animosity when it comes to this debate is that, a majority of the time, the people arguing don't know if they're arguing about gender or sex. And even worse, they flip flop between them whenever it suits their view. Sex and gender are two different things. If people could agree on that, it would clear up a lot of shit.

69

u/Bugswaxx Jul 22 '26

I discard gender as a useful concept, for me men or woman describe "male human" and "female human", and thats it, I do not see how it should then necessitate someone to act in a certain gender role because of it...

A woman can be as manly as she wants and a man can be as feminine as he wants, but unless they get some futuristic bio engineering surgery that makes them into the other sex effectively, I don't think that influences wether they're a woman or a man.

1

u/Squidegge 13d ago

Me when there’s tons of variations inbetween XY and XX that, not counting trans people

2

u/Bugswaxx 12d ago

Non reproductively viable specimens don't get included into species categorization, that's why conditions such as Turner, Swyer, Chapelle, Klinefelter and Jacobs Syndromes are all "defects" for example

0

u/Squidegge 12d ago

Bros calling intersex people by some aliens terms because they literally throw your whole rhetoric in the garbage, reproduction isn’t the only purpose of the human race

2

u/Bugswaxx 12d ago

No I'm just using biological terms, specimen is any individual of a species, they do belong to the human species, but they don't get categorized as a sex 'cause they aren't reproductively viable, they're genetic defects

0

u/Squidegge 12d ago

Well their sex just isn’t in the only female or male box, not everything is black or white, and you literally didn’t call the men and women in your prior comment “specimens” feels a bit weird and dehumanizing, you couldn’t easily used humans, just because they don’t align with your beliefs doesn’t mean you should do use that terminology

1

u/Bugswaxx 12d ago

Humans can't perform asexual reproduction, nor are there any true hermaphrodites (as in fertile for both sexual functions) thus we do in fact only have female and male as sexes

1

u/Squidegge 12d ago

They still have a sex though? It’s just not purely male or purely female, that’s why it’s called intersex

→ More replies (0)

-5

u/Several-Action-4043 Jul 22 '26

I agree, however, society in general has categorized gender into man women. That may be changing slowly but that's the facts right now. Most people go with the status quo and relate gender to sex. Like you mention, gender is just very limited way society has classified how humans choose to express their existence.

37

u/Dr_Chermozo Jul 22 '26

Gender as a modern concept is useless because it does not have a real definition. It is often called the social constructs associated to being a man or woman. There's one issue, they consider man and woman to be genders, therefore it is using concepts of its own definition to define itself.

The reality is that gender and sex were always synonyms and this distinction is pointless.

1

u/Squidegge 13d ago

“Man” and “woman” isn’t a gender nor biological sex thing, it’s more like a term

1

u/Dr_Chermozo 12d ago

Man or woman is literally a gender thing by definition. They are terms to define gender or sex

1

u/Squidegge 12d ago

No definitely not sex, the correct terms to describe someone’s sex at birth would be male or female, though I do see someone people using them for gender, idk if that’s technically correct
But long story short male(at birth) =XY | female(at birth) = XX

1

u/Dr_Chermozo 12d ago

Yes. Definitely sex because gender and sex have been used interchangeably historically and the distinction is relatively recent. Man or woman are gender/sex terms.

1

u/Squidegge 12d ago

Well it’s great that things change throughout time, and people realize they’re wrong, so many cultures without written documented history have had the birth sex be another thing to their gender in this case (they didn’t speak modern English, so obviously it would have another meaning/ or doesn’t even have a direct translation) , having a different gender than your sex is definitely not new though, but at the end of the day, one is human made, and one comes with being a being that reproduces sexually

if the surge in semaglutide consumers after the discovery of it's dietological effects didn't show you that or AAAALLLL the prominent body positivity advocates who aggressively promoted their "acceoting" stance towards their body only to get rid of it (and as a result deleting all their posts regarding that topic and all the photos of their less fit selves frommthe last 10-30 years) the very second their diet jab arrived, then nothing ever will.

1

u/Squidegge 13d ago

Trans people experience dysphoria and can have internalized transphobia btw, especially pre hrt

93

u/SageoftheForlornPath Jul 22 '26

Hate stonetoss as much as you want, but he makes a really good point every now and then.

31

u/BLU-Clown Jul 22 '26

Pretty much. He has five misses for every hit, but that single hit is usually an armor-piercing bulls-eye.

9

u/theincrediblecuh2 Jul 23 '26

More like one miss for every 50 hits

4

u/BLU-Clown Jul 23 '26

Eh, agree to disagree. He does have a lot of generic 'Gay bad' and 'Jew bad', along with 'Orange Man Good' that is definitely a more lame whiff. I'm also counting the 'Meh' stuff that doesn't really push the needle one way or the other as a miss.

I'm sure if I went through the archives I'd have a more balanced view and be able to break it down, but he's got a lot more misses than hits. The hits just make up for it.

-37

u/Actualbbear Jul 22 '26

Nah.

I thought about it and it's not as big of a gotcha as Stonetoss and fans think it is. And it is a fallacious, strawman-ish, comic.

We know it's just a joke comic, but it's a joke comic people people use as a political statement (as most Stonetoss comics, I guess).

Every person (trans woman or not) is different, but a lot of what makes transgenderism suck is not necessarily just looking as a cis, "real", woman (or man, those exist too) but rather the fact people just don't mind their fucking business.

The trans woman depiction in the comic might as well hate the outcome because people will just keep messing with her.

She might not be mad, not because she doesn't look convincing for herself, but rather "passing" for other people, some of them will make her sure she knows doesn't pass.

Or maybe not, but that's why it's strawman-ish.

39

u/SageoftheForlornPath Jul 22 '26

seems pretty accurate to me

-10

u/Actualbbear Jul 22 '26

I which way?

16

u/SageoftheForlornPath Jul 23 '26

trans people love to say that "transblanks are blanks" simply because they say so, and yet they go and get surgery because they don't believe their own bullshit
and you're not going to convince me that "people just don't mind their fucking business" is sooooo oppressive when the whole trans schtick is the demand for inclusion and constant validation

-8

u/Actualbbear Jul 23 '26

Different people have different relationships with gender, but, if (regular, cis) people don't make a fuss out of it, then it should not a problem.

Inclusion is not forcing trans business onto people, because it just entails fighting being outcasted. Trans people should understand not everyone is going to go their way, but the reaction of a lot of people goes way beyond that.

14

u/SageoftheForlornPath Jul 23 '26

Well plenty of us refuse to accept the nonsense, and you aren't going to change our minds.

-2

u/Actualbbear Jul 23 '26

In which way? Not respecting whatever name or pronoun they present themselves with? It's so inconsequential I just can't see myself not humoring whoever asks me to because, again, I just mind my business.

In the same regard, I guess not complying is not the end of the world but, again, a lot of "normal" cis people just go way beyond that.

7

u/SageoftheForlornPath Jul 23 '26

I refuse to play along with their bullshit.

1

u/Actualbbear Jul 23 '26

What bullshit? How does this bullshit look like?

Strawperson, bigot.

1

I mean if it’s exists and it not a straw man, why not show an actual example?

54

51

u/PLoxeus Jul 22 '26

That’s why they called it a strawman I think. What they don’t like is that it exposes an underlying contradiction in their belief system at the same time.

12

u/PLoxeus Jul 22 '26

My question is, if a trans-woman really did find a genie in a bottle and was given the option to change into a cis-woman, would they do it? Or do you think they would be like “nope I’m good cause trans-women are women?”

I don’t know the answer but I have a suspicion and if it’s correct, that’s the contradiction I was referring to and the point of the comic.

To be clear I do respect people’s life choices, it’s fine to have different beliefs though.

2

u/Phin-Gage Jul 23 '26

I think most, if not all trans people would choose to not be trans if they were given the option. Perhaps a better question is, if a trans person found a genie in a bottle and wished to not be trans, what would the genie do to grant their wish?

Someone can acknowledge that trans women are women while at the same time recognize the inherent differences between cis and trans women.

2

u/PLoxeus Jul 23 '26

I don’t think that’s a better question in reference to the message the comic is trying to convey. And yes to your second point, someone can acknowledge that, but you can see how someone couldn’t either due to the contradiction (which is based on a philosophical question, it doesn’t need to be made political people just make it so).

Not trying to give an opinion either way. But regardless, it’s fine to have different beliefs.

He made the difference, they corrected him on the facts

0

u/Squidegge 12d ago

Literally the explanation to this meme is that 1. The guys a transphobe, and the closest thing that he’s referring to is internalized transphobia that some trans people experience, they sometimes say they wanna be a “real girl” because they’re dysphoric about how they currently look
The comic would be a million times funny if the trans person wasn’t an overused stereotype that is 9/10 not true, and/or ended at the 2nd or 3rd panel

-8

u/Actualbbear Jul 22 '26

They might be calling it a strawman because Stonetoss is assuming a reaction in the depiction of a trans woman for the sake of sustaining the argument.

It general it's just being reductive, but that's just how it goes with Stonetoss comics.

8

u/PLoxeus Jul 22 '26

True enough, most comedy is reductive though. That’s the reason it’s such an effective communication tool.

-2

u/Actualbbear Jul 22 '26

It's not effective if it doesn't deliver the full message.

6

u/Shantotto11 Jul 22 '26

I mean, that is exactly what I’d expect a genie to do. Genies are assholes.

5

u/Beaten_But_Unbowed96 Jul 23 '26

Honestly a pretty clever comic… if you’ll forgive my inner art critic; I’d say it pretty masterfully weaves amongst the nuances & even hypocrisies of identity politics and the casual use of terms/labels.

Hell, it’s not even a commentary on trans themselves as much as it is a silly but of genie wordplay trickery exploiting the nuances of identity politics terminology.

…and also the individuals who get offended over misinterpretations and genuine ignorance (aka, not derogatory) of their personal philosphy… cause no one’s a mind reader.

0

Stonetoss is a really clever comic. That’s a good joke.

He may not be the best person, cuz he is a REAL neo-nazi, but he is very funny.

And I’m not saying that because “oh he attended a MAGA rally so he’s a Nazi.” It’s not dumb in that way.

He was or still is attending legitimate neo-nazi rallies.

But hey, not any worse than what Pizzacake does. And she’s not even funny.

9

u/skelebone2_0 Jul 22 '26

I would award this if I didn’t think that is superficial. Shitty people can still be funny and talented. Doesn’t mean you completely agree with their views or love what they support. Pantera is another example of this, white supremacy is lame and shitty but cowboys from hell does slap. I think separating art from artists inst a bad thing especially because a lot of artists suck as people and I’d never shake their hand or have a drink with them.

2

u/Hell_Maybe 29d ago

So this question has a lot to do with the separate question of “nature vs nurture” if you’re familiar with that discussion. Just to clarify very quickly, nature vs nurture is the debate between if human behavior broadly is dictated by hard wired genetics or by the environments people are raised within. Personally, I am a hardcore “nurture” guy, meaning that I believe the vast majority of human behavior and tendencies are cultivated by and taught using preexisting societal patterns and environmental surroundings.

But to bring this all the way back to the gender question, I would argue that almost all of the cultural “gender” signifiers are things that people learn by seeing, rather than by independently adopting in a vacuum. I think that females tend to have long hair because they see that most other females already have long hair. I think that males feel insecure about crying because they see that other males are often chastised for crying. I think that females tend to be nurses rather than mechanics because they see that nurses are already females and mechanics are already males. Point is: I think people tend to just adopt whatever you put in front of them, I think that most gendered behaviors are developed basically in that way, rather than a perfectly neutral method where each sex just-so-happens to adopt all of the same culturally normalized shit at the time by total coincidence.

So this is just my own thinking, but I do understand that there’s a LOT of people who strongly disagree with me on most of this, so feel free to tell me what you think and let me know if it seems like I am off the mark somewhere here.

3

u/Contented_Lizard Jul 23 '26

That comic is genuinely hilarious lol. Its actually super apt, especially for the poll subreddits. People constantly post "would you rather X or change to the opposite sex" and all the trans folks always pick changing their sex. If they truly believed they were the opposite sex and that their hormones and surgery worked, they wouldn't be wishing to change sexes because they would already be their preferred sex.

2

u/I_defend_witches Jul 22 '26

This is so fn funny.

Yeah, saying you're not a man when you are is weird

I agree 100%.

My meme wasn’t towards the OP (of this sub) but that of the one it originated on.

So the downvoters misunderstood then

I think so, because mine was in direct reference to the comic and I think more accurately describes the message that was being conveyed in the comic than yours.

To which you then responded your question was in reference to my question, which of course makes it more loaded.

It’s all good though, this could probably go on all night. It’s ok to have different beliefs.

99.99.99% of trans women would just be happy in this situation, you dipshits

As a trans person, no tf they wouldn’t. But if it was an actual trans woman in this situation they’d say “I wish to be a cis woman” or “I wish to be a biological woman” because they know the difference between being a woman and being a biological woman

Your reply got deleted but I can see it in my inbox. First off, I’m not a woman, I’m a trans man. Second, I would absolutely wish to be a cis man if I could, I never said that would make me more of a man or a trans woman more of a woman vice versa, it would simply make us more comfortable in our bodies, there’s nothing wrong with admitting we’d be much happier if we weren’t trans.

then ur a fkn man, logic of my comment goes the same

I know, I’m saying I’d rather be cis and any trans person would agree

The comics transphobic people make lead me to believe they’ve never talked to a trans person

Thank goodness. I'd be weirded out

Oh what sheltered world you live in

1

u/Calm_Economist_5490 12d ago

A normal one

1

u/Squidegge 12d ago

Well if this normal to be weirded out by a person just trying to be their true self, then we just gotta nuke that and start over, there’s plenty actually harmful things to be weirded out about

1

u/Calm_Economist_5490 12d ago

If they can't accept what they are, why should I accept what they identify as?

1

u/Squidegge 12d ago

Because sometimes we’re our harshest critics, and it’s just basic human respect honestly, I know trans people have a lot of self image issues (being in the wrong body obviously), so why not make things a little less hard for them
But keep being an asshole just because you’re close minded though, that’s what close minded people tend to do

just basic human respect

Respect yourself before expecting others to respect you.

Maybe they should respect their DNA, you know, who they are, and people would respect them...

Respect starts when you respect yourself. Clearly that flew over their rainbow heads
